Have just installed a 135' doublet fed with 450ohm commercial ladderline.
The position of the ladder line as it comes alongside the house and into the shack is currently very close to where the electrical service line comes in. Luckily I am not picking up any power line noise but I wonder how critical is it that I try to keep the ladderline away from the house and particularly conductive items? IF it is critial how far should I try to stand it off? Comments appreciated. Larry VE7EA -- ******************************** to reply via email remove "fake" |
