Your Pa is right, it's best to learn code if you want to become a good Ham
Operator. It really isn't that hard to learn. It's a lot of fun and you
never know when it will be needed for emergencies or contests. Go ahead and
get your Tech if you want first and then go for an upgrade. You'll need to
know code then.
Good luck.

Hi, Sarah:

There are several very nice programs available. I suggest trying the one

at
http://www.qrpham.fsnet.co.uk/CW%20Trainer.htm

It is free!

Good luck and let us know how you are doing.

Paul
