I reported the problem to the dealer, and they told me that after checking their stock, they found that about half of the relays had incorrect threads on the connectors. So, if anyone is in the market for a coaxial relay and are considering Tohtsu, make sure that the seller tries a PL-259 on ALL THREE of the connectors on the relay. Hard to understand how a reputable machine company could make such a mistake, but it happened. The dealer, Nebraska Surplus Sales, stepped up to the problem immediately and is doing the right thing. 73, K8AC Floyd - I have heard of this problem from overseas mfg. (getting the 5/8 - 24 threads correct) .. which I am sure is realted to being more familair with metric and not having the tools properly calibrated for English ! Glad to hear you are getting support for it. Another reason to consider the Dow model 60 series for usage. w9gb |
