Default Power antenna question

I hope this is posted in the correct forum….

I'm looking for an indoor (or outdoor attic mount if necessary)
antenna that will allow me to get local NY TV stations in the
Philadelphia area. It's about 2 hours or 120 miles from the source; I
believe either the Empire State building or Palisades Park NJ. I'd
appreciate any suggestions as I'm NY Giants fan stuck in southern NJ
(Philly Eagles territory).

Thanks,

Brian D.

Brian -

IF you live 120 miles from a TV transmitting site, you are in a "deep
fringe" reception area. This will require you to get as much physical
height and outdoor antenna - that is available for reliable reception.
Winegard, AntennaCraft and ChannelMaster have model that could meet that
requirement -- on a 40 or 50 foot tower.

I would recommend that you consider a satellite TV service (DirecTV, DISH)
that has the NFL choice package - you get all of the sports you desire --
solid picture -- for about same amount of $$ . You are allowed by FCC
(federal law) to have an outdoor satellite dish ... if you have problems
with a landlord / building owner or homeowner's association - send their
legal council to this web site:

That will address that problem.
