I assume, since it uses and NEC2 engine, that it has all the pros and cons

It has also optimizer built in. By using MultiNEC, one can go between EZNEC,
4NEC2 and MMANA and doing more investigation and chartiong.

Actually, MultiNEC allows you to switch between EZNEC, NEC WinPlus+,
4NEC2, Antenna Model, EZNECpro, GNEC, or the standard NEC2 or NEC4
engines. MultiNEC will read MMANA files but not use its calculating
engine.
