Default Painting a Yagi

Does it affect the performance of a Yagi antenna (433 MHz) to paint the elements?

Peter,

I have sprayed the elements and booms of many antennas with clear enamel
with no ill effects. The big caveat is to know what needs to be
electrically connected to what and make sure those connections are preserved
thru the coating process. As always, check the antenna VSWR after coating
to make sure it still works properly.
