After using the AntennaWarehouse ScanTenna (http://users.cis.net/kingpop/Scanner/Scantenna.htm) I won't ever buy a Discone again. First you need to remember that a Discone has no gain. Since you only have two choices I would pick the MON-3 simply because they at least advertise some gain where as a discone is a unity gain antenna. George http://www.MilAirComms.com |
