Lucent GPS antenna voltage?
Does anyone know how much voltage these various Lucent
GPS antennas typically use that are surplus from cell phone sites? Or other brands in case there's some standardization. Hank N1LTV |

oups.com... Does anyone know how much voltage these various Lucent GPS antennas typically use that are surplus from cell phone sites? Or other brands in case there's some standardization. Hank N1LTV The original standard was 5 volt supplied by the GPS receiver, HOWEVER this was changed to 3.3 volt with newer GPS model receivers. NEWER antennas can handle both voltages (pre-amp inside). IF you are looking at surplus antennas, unless they are proprietary to a specific receiver, are likely 5 volt models. gb |
