Default OT external cell phone antenna

I need to improve the signal to my cell phone while inside my house.
Currently there is one place where I can get enough signal to talk to people
(most of the time.)

AT&T is the carrier and the model I have (3560 - not - 3650) does not seem
to have an external antenna available on the internet.
Antennas for similar phones don't plug in but snap on to the outside of the
case.

I'd like something that would allow me to move around the house a bit but
would not mind standing in one place.

Years ago I wrapped a TV antenna lead around a cheap transistor radio and
could not move the dial without picking up a station. With out that wire the
radio picked up 2 or 3 stations.

Would my TV antenna pick up enough to be a help?
