According to my quick-and-dirty web research, the original Micronaut
transmitter was described in K4TWJ's "World of Ideas" column in the April and May 1996 issues of CQ magazine. Not QST. According to an endnote in a September 1997 QST article on the MRX-40 Mini Receiver, Micronaut transmitter kits can be obtained from Dave Ingram, K4TWJ, 4941 Scenic View Dr, Birmingham, AL 35210. They are $15 (without crystal), plus $2 shipping and handling. That address is still good according to QRZ.com, though the price might have gone up. :-) Bill / W5WVO Paul Jordan wrote: I'm looking for an article on the Micronaut 20 meter QRP rig that was in QST possibly in 1997. If anyone has it scanned or can point me to a link for it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm lookin to build this rig and possibly make up some for some future hams to build as well..
