Default Short lot 80 and possible 160 antenna suggestions

Without dropping 200 or so on Commercial. Im in the process of trying
to find a better 80 and possible 160 antenna for a short lot. Right
now I have a G5RV that goes from corner to corner. I have just about
110ft from corner to corner on the long side.

Ive been looking at Windoms, but would have to modify it, and Im not
sure.

SOOO, what other antennas are I missing. Warc, plus 40/80 are definite
but would like to play with Top Band too.

BEAR in mind, I dont have a big tower to put a sloper or other on to.
This is from a tree (50Ft) to a Mast I put up (20ft)
Thanks Scotty N7HJ

Rick - to open up more options, can you utilize ladder-line / twin lead all
the way to the radio area or does your set-up absolutely need a coax
feedline? I have seen commercial antennas (loaded dipoles) 110-120' that
can be used for 160M up when fed with open wire that aren't too expensive.
The ends can be dropped down for 5' or so at each end to fit into your lot.

Check out URL http://www.northwestantennas.com/ up here in Canada for one
idea at $60-$70 USD, shipping included.

Also, your G5RV can be shorted out and used on 160M with a tuner. Good
luck..... Al, va3kai

Unfortunately do to condix (and XYL) my options for ladder line in
preclude bringing it inside because I go under the house in teh crawl
space then up behind the tub wall into my room.

So Coax is the way I need to go.
Ill check the site out thanks.

Drop the ends of a half-wave dipole enough to fit the lot. You will loose a
little in signal, but probably less than in the matching section for a short
antenna.

Rick, I put up a B&W End Fed Inverted V which needs about 105 feet and
it loads on all bands from 160 throgh ten meters with swr less than 1.5
The center is on a 30 foot push up mast.

That is, of course, if you don't mind that the antenna efficiency
sucks.

Al,
I ordered thier L160CF, I will let you know how it works after I get
it up.

Hopefully I can do all bands on it with my tuner.
