I have the driven element resonated at 14.150=B1 in the modeler. Now I have to add the reflector to the model. The question is how much longer should the refelector be vs. the overall length of the driven element in terms of percenatge/scale factor. I'm much more interested in F/B performance than I am in forward gain. Does anybody who has been there have suggestions for a starting point?? Tnx, w3rv You might want to check out the Files section the hex-beam Yahoo group. There are several files there with detailed specs on home brewed mono- and multi-band hexbeams. Thanks for the tip Paul, I'll dig into it.=20 =20 Paul AB0SI w3rv |
