"PDRUNEN" wrote in message ... Hi all, I have a 1/4 wave vertical on 440, from this a direct connect to my 440 preamp, which as a 50 ohm input and output, then a direct connect to a receiver which has 2000 ohms impedance. Something wrong here. It would be very difficult to build anything at 440 MHz that has 2000 Ohm input impedance. Tam/WB2TT Does it make a different if the receiver input is not exactly matched? Should I try to set up the 50ohm to 2000 or step down the 2000 to 50 ohm? |
