this (coax feed, distance between loops) and i want to run horizontal
thanks dave

Cut two pieces of 75 Ohm coax, 3/4 electrical wavelength long ( about 38
inches for regular RG59). Connect one end of each to an antenna, the other
ends to a T connector. Connect 50 Ohm coax from third port of T connector to
radio; you will probably need a UHF F-F adapter to do this. Space the
antennas apart as far as the coax will reach. Anything less than 4 - 5 feet
is not worth doing. As I recall, one wavelength, 2 meter spacing, will give
almost 3 db gain.
