One thing I learned the hard way is to create a break-point in the line where if something grabs the coax and keeps going with it, it releases from the radio it is attached to. Hi Buck, Reminds me of my Navy days when Ensigns would attempt to walk 6 feet with a mike that had a 5 foot cable. We attached a chain from the mike to the bulkhead that was 4 foot long.
