I'm considering purchasing the Yaesu FT-40 automatic antenna tuner for
my FT-857D. Does anyone know if you can use a loop antenna with this tuner? The brochure states that it will handle a random wire with a minimum length of 66 feet, but does this mean the loop must be a minimum of 66 feet also? Since from the pictures, it looks like there is only one connection at the top of the tuner, a ceramic insulator with a wind nut (I may be wrong) how would one connect both ends of the loop antenna to the tuner?
