Roger bleep.
 

Hello,
Where would i find a roger bleep which would consist of a number of
different tones in one bleep?I want to install it inside of a Motorola GM350
for commercial use.
Any assistance is appreciated!

Excuse my humor in my previous post.

Roger beeps are considered VERY bad behavior when used on ham bands.
Indeed, the only place I have ever seen them used is by truck drivers on
the CB band.

They shortly grow annoying... I would suggest against their use, but if
you really have to have one, ask on rec.radio.cb they will be able to
provide you with a source, I am sure...

My Motorola Maxtrak beeps just as I key it to talk on the 800 mhz
band. Does that qualify as a roger-bleep? It should be built into your
Motorola, too.

Just what kind of a bleep are you looking for? Talk about picky :-(

Roger beeps are actually used a lot on VHF SSB here in EU,
and they nicely show what an inefficient mode SSB is. Hardly
a VHF contest goes by, when I do NOT hear a station in SSB
calling me, where everything I can clearly copy is the
rogerbeep ;)

I run a security buisness radio system.The majority of their radios are VHF
Motorola Brands.The thing is that all of the current installed ones have a
simultaneously multi tone bleep.In other words a number of beeps in one
bleep.I know its confusing.

Contact a Motorola dealer? Considering how proprietary their radio
designs are, you probably need to talk to them to get what you are
looking for.
