For the initiated:
If you're wanting to dis-assemble Win-dos _executables_, make me a _reasonable_ offer on SOURCER v6.55 with BIOS Pre-Processor, and ASMtool v3.07, from V Communications, which I bought new in 1995. SOURCER makes multiple passes through executabless and produces assembly-like listings (with optional comments: eg, interrupts, types of jumps), and ASMtool produces flow-charts from SOURCER results. Why do this? Maintenance of undocumented code, virus research, solving compatibility problems ... I dunno about "latest upgrades". The products do what is claimed for them, ie, dis-assemble Win-dos executables, and produce flow-charts. Nisi? Okay, "Caveat emptor". 73, Dave, N3HE Cincinnati OH |
