The twin lead is whatever length it takes to resonate the antenna system plus an integer multiple of 1/2WL. Correct this concept first before drawing additional conclusions. I think I meant a 1/2 wl interval, but apparently that is wrong too. If I have an antenna at impedance A, I would first run a length of 450 ohm twin lead for X length which will create the matching impedance and then any integer multiple of a half wave after that.
