Going to? It says 2000 on that ARRL Handbook!

They are NOT going to eliminate the conjugate reference, because
it's correct.

Point of fact: in the current 20th edition, dated 2003, it has gone.

It had been correct; then they incorrectly revised it; now it has been
corrected again.


Point of fact: If Zo is purely real, then
Zo*=Zo, and so both forms are correct in this case.
