Default Interesting HF antenna design

Or is this antenna story just a way to earn some money? You have to send the
guy at least 20 Euros (approx 20 USD) in order to receive (hopefully) the
construtional details in March 2006...

If it is a true ham project, I don't understand why the details can not be
published on a simple web page. At least the outlines.

LOL. There are plenty of gullable suckers in the world.
Just watch. He'll have a whole boatload of them rounded
up after a while. All delivering *glowing* reports of the new
"technology". Same as the other gimmick antennas floating
around. He seems to be in the same part of the world as
another leading promoter of small gimmickry. You remember
those short ugly useless thangs that relied on feedline
current to operate? Yep, this thing is shorty's bigger bro.
Ready to rule the world of gimmick radiators.
Yeaaa hawwww! I'll be dumping my conventional antennas
at O-clock....:/ Of course, with the lack of free info, you
can't tell if it's a fat helical whip, oversized straight radiator
or what. Of course, this is all by design. You can't make
any money if you come right out and describe what it is,
like most normal people would do. I wonder if these plans
come with a money back warranty if one is not impressed
with the design?

Sorry Felix, but Isaac Asimov's built-in doubter kicks-in right-away here.

HUH ? !

"A new, revolutionary design allows the construction

of small HF antennas, which provide the same efficiency

as large antennas."

__same efficiency__ If it sounds too good to be true...

It is larger than the average mobile antenns and, therefore, on the lower
bands where you can't get a full 1/4 wave, it'll do better.

Looks like his car is a spin off from a trolley. I don't think I'd want
one of those on my car no matter how well it worked.
