This unit may work...An internet friend helped me do some diagnostics
on it an he says it is working but I do not really know how to use it.
Also, the calibration circuit is not working for some reason and I do
not want to try and fix this so I am selling it as is.

What newsgroup are you talking about? It was cross posted to five
groups, including news:sci.electronics.equipment. When the electronics
newsgroups were created, a specific newsgroup was also created for all
sales in the news:misc groups. For sale postings are not allowed, by
the newsgroup charter for the following groups:

news:sci.electronics.basics

news:sci.electronics.cad

news:sci.electronics.components

news:sci.electronics.design

news:sci.electronics.equipment

news:sci.electronics.misc

I have no problems with that. If news:alt.guitar.amps was created for
the porpose or it doesn't say in the group charter and no one complains,
make use of it.

There aren't supposed to be any 'for sale' postings in any of the
news:sci.* groups. That was why the
news:misc.industry.electronics.marketplace group was created. We go
through floods of spam, both electronics, and unrelated that make some
of the electronics newsgroups almost unusable. That is why we do our
best to inform the offenders. Politely, when that works, but some of
the guys can get VERY aggressive qwith repeat . We have had a lot of
cross posted crap lately, and it seems to keep spreading when the new
groups are noticed. If people would use
news:misc.industry.electronics.marketplace like it should be, it would
be a nice resource. Right now, it gets unrelated crap becasue no one
seems to care.

The ankle biter is likely from one of the cross posted NG's and not AGA.
Really, it's not that big of a deal. This happens in unmoderated NG's all
the time. There's nothing you can do about it. Live with this or use your
filter. IMHO, he followed the accepted standard, marking it "FA" for which
a filer could so easily be established. This complaint is bogus.
