Surplus to the operation...

A Viking II in moderately good condition. Looks like it will be ok.
Would look quite respectable with some Fantastic, and then a little of the right
cleaner/wax (I've done this before to a few Viking IIs).
The former owner said he had it on the air a year ago (yeah right).
But maybe.

Excellent documentation!
All original manuals! (probably worth $$ on ePay).

Has quite a few mods, look like they were well done in years past.
PTT installed nicely.
Regulated screen voltage it looks like added nicely under the chassis.
All tubes present and accounted for - none look toasty.

Nothing obviously fried or toasted.
Still has blue colored Selenium Bias rectifiers - authentic period component!! Wink

Some rear apron mods - 3 wire line cord added, one SO-239 needs replacement,
Cinch Jones 4 pin jack added also (purpose not yet determined).

Front panel is pretty ok, some scratches top front center, not bad.

The perf metal rear and sides are peeling paint, no rust. Needs repaint.
Looks like it is from being stored in the heat & cold.
Inner chassis is clean.
Iron is not rusty.

Untested as of this posting.

Shipping is extra - and I will charge something for the packing that will
not result in it being destroyed in transit. :_)
Also have Heath HG-10 VFO in similar condition, but not too bad actually.
Untested with the Viking II add $30.00. Otherwise make an offer.

Open to trades for non-junk.
Will consider "fixer uppers" that I really like.
Would probably swap even for an old but working TS-120s/130s or similar.
