One of the eBay sellers has posted photos of the internals
of the Collins 51S-1 receiver. This is the general coverage
version of the Collins S/Line. The band switch
is especially interesting, sort of a turret arrangement
where the switched components, mounted on pc-board material,
revolve with the band switch.

Knowing that boatanchors collectors usually like equipment as intact as
possible, I invite comments on the general interest for getting a radio that has
been fully disassembled and re-assembled, and without its original cabinet.
