TS-830s part needed

Im searching for a receiver part for my old TS-830s. The rig was apparently
abused a bit in a past life as a CB radio. The coil L41 in my receiver was
apparently removed and was jumpered underneath on the foil side. The part
is a small slug tuned coil, Kenwood part #L40-4701-03. Kenwood calls it a
ferri-inductor. Its apparently an open coil with two windings and no metal
can exterior. The value is 47uH according to the schematic. Ive pursued a

Collins KWM-1 in the U-2 aircraft

Many amateur radio operators are not familiar with the fact that the
Collins KWM-1 amateur radio SSB transceiver was installed in the U-2 spy
aircraft. This was to furnish the pilot with HF SSB capabilities.

Since it was desired that the pilot not have to do any tuning of the radio,
the Novice Class crystal oscillator plug-in was used to keep the unit on
the proper frequency!

The now declassified manual on the U-2 can be found at the following URL:...
