Default FT-102 help

Hello all,

I'm trying to repair an (ab)used FT-102. Among other things that I'm fixing
I found on the RF-UNIT board the following missing components:

T21, T22, T25
C38, C42, C08, C31, C19
R49

Can anyone tell me if those parts are supposed to be there (I guess they
are) and where to find the missing transformers?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Francesco,

I am the proud owner :-) of two FT-102s. I can tell you from memory
that, if these components are close to a bandswitch assembly, they were
intended to replace some sub-band with other (as the 11 meter band), so
usually are not present (and, trust me, it is better they are not)

I could check at home to be sure.

Hello Jose :-)
I've read your relay pages on the web :-)

well, the AUX band ones are T38 and T39 (I should check the schematic, which
is home at the moment). These are for the 17M band and 12M band if I recall
correctly. The rig I have have been badly modified and abused too (I
needed to remove 11M mod and 45M mod too), it's still deaf so I started
to check the RF unit board and I noticed the missing pieces.
It's going to be a hard job fixing it :/

I could check at home to be sure.

thanks a lot.
