I've got one that fits the description you gave. Mine works ok (last time
tried, 10 or 15 years ago). I'll get it out and see what the data plate
says. (might be one or two days) I was thinking there was a schematic glued
inside the case to one wall, but I'll check that too. This one I have became
military surplus when bombers changed from reciprocating engines to jet
engines. I think (think, I repeat) this one was used to view propellers in
motion. Blade tracking and such I imagine.

That's a model 631B (or BL, if it has a toggle switch on the back
marked "direct - slow," for 1/10 range.

It has an unlabeled toggle switch on the back and 2 pin female plug as well
as phone jack. The wire to the phone jack has been clipped?
