Default For Sale - Hallicrafters 8R40 Receiver

Hi All -

I just have too many radios so I'm making room. I have this Hallicrafters
8R40 which is in pretty nice shape and works. Vintage around 1953. It's
general coverage and pretty clean. Probably the worst problem it has
cosmetically is some of the labeling on the knobs is worn some and the
chrome bezel has some tarnish. Otherwise it's in really good condition. IMHO
it's probably around an 8 out of 10.

Because it's a tube receiver and is on the heavy side it would be on the
difficult and pricey side to ship so I'd prefer it be picked up. I live in
Herrick Center, Pa. 18430, in the Scranton area. Any takers for $75.00 and
you come and get it?

Thanks,

Ken
