I got a Kenwood 520SE which I use for CW and would like to install a cw
filter. Does only the original one fit or are the alternatives by other vendors/homebrew possibilities?? Are the original ones still available?? 73 Uwe |

Try "INRAD". Look them up on Google.

Thanks for the info, that seems like a good source albeit the filters seem like a pricy addition. I will "poll" a few fellow owners as to the usefulness of filter. I put the CW filter in my TS-520, but found it pretty "confining," and ended up using it only in the worst of conditions, preferring to copy a particular station by its pitch in most cases. -- John Miller, N4VU Email address: domain, n4vu.com; username, jsm The man on tops walks a lonely street; the chain of command is often a noose. |
