BC14 crystal receiver.


Yes but not in the plane. These were used for spotting
and were only one way transmissions.

I had a BC-14A made by Deforest that I sold to a collector
that lives in Italy. Too bad for me, it's wroth about 3 or 4 times
what I sold it for then.
