Yup - but nowhere near a record.

Back about 2000 there appeared on eBay an unbuilt AT-1 kit. It was
dated 1956 and had not even been opened. It was one of the very last
AT-1s sold by Heath before it was replaced by the DX-20.

The bidding was fierce and the final price was....$5100.00. Not a typo
- five thousand one hundred US dollars.
