Default RCA AR-77

This is the radio that I asked for help in identifying. I've finally
started on the re-capping job. While none of this will come as any
news I thought I'd post it anyway.

On one side of the radio are two terminal strips one above the other
with 4 capacitors and 4 resistors. The resistors are in front of two
of the capacitors I plan on replacing. I removed two capacitors, after
removal I tested them. They appear to be open, whether from age or the
abuse of the de-soldering I can't say.

The other two caps in the same area require that I remove some resistors
to get at them, so I measured the four resistors in the area. These
measurements where made in circuit. My thinking is that if the reading
is high the resistor must be bad, other components could only cause the
reading to be lower.

Anyway, here is what I found:

Should be | Measured in circuit
47K | 70K
330 | 327
22K | 27K
68 | 156

Regards,

Bob
