Default DG5 FIX

hi guys, i have a kenwood dg5 in which a transistor (q31 on the board)
and labelled Td235 has broken off at the base of the case, so no
good....:-( . have tried for cross references..have come up with 2sd235, and
q62702-d235, but i think these are made of unobtainium like the
original...anybody know of something that will substitute?. thanks for
reading. cheers john.

Is this a TO-220 type power transistor? If so, Mouser shows a TIP31A as
being eqivalent to a 2SD235. 69 cents in onesies, 1900 in stock.
