Ed Posted Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of Phillips NE5204A or SA5205A or equivalent) DIP RF amplifier modules? Have you tried RF Parts? Don I was referred to http://www.chipsearch.com and found a vendor with about 20 pieces, only 25 miles from me. How about that?!!! Eh? From the home page at the URL above : Welcome To Chip Search : Chip Search is a Technical In-Placement Firm. SNIP Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see anything about IC sources there. Ideas? -- Mike Andrews Tired old sysadmin No Mike, you are absolutely right. And I just spent 30 minutes trying to trace how I DID find those 5204's, and I can't figure out how I did it. I guess it was just one of those cyber miracles. Whatever, the search came down to two vendors, and I noticed one was almost local to me. I ended up placing a PO to http://www.lookic.com/parts/ . I haven't the faintest idea where that reference to the headhunter came from; maybe I better stop doing this after-midnight research! Ed wb6wsn |
