Ebay's feedback reporting is almost meaningless. Take the example of
radio-mart. In 2003 his alter-ego, gottahaveit1995, was bidding radio-mart's auctions and even listed feedback (positive, of course) on radio-mart's feedback pages. Radio-mart appeared suspended in Spring of 2004. Some three months later, radio-mart reappeared as a registered user and started selling again. The feedback from gottahaveit1995 on radio-mart's feedback page then (conveniently) disappeared....yes, ebay erased it! The bottom line he if ebay "fixes" someone's feedback to coverup an obvious fraud....how much credibility does ebay have, let alone their much-faulted "feedback" system. To me, the feedback system remains a joke. wrote in message oups.com... Here's a seller on ebay that has Radio-Mart beat by a long shot. The seller id is: bargainland-liquidation. This business has over 12 THOUSAND negative feedbacks. Do you suppose that negative feedback has ANY meaning to the administrators at eBay? Forget Radio-Mart and his negative feedbacks. This seller could really teach him a few things. rgds, Mark S. |
