I rest my case. It didn't sell. It's almost 20% of my house cost.

Hey Mike - K5VSE
Formerly WB6VSE, senior tech, amateur division SBE/Linear Systems, Watsonville, CA What's the story on the SBE-36 ??? Someone has told me it was made by Robyn in Japan but sold under the SBE name. Also wondering why they used Nixie tubes when some LEDs were available in the early 70's. I think Signal One CX-7 was the other rig that had nixies but switched to LEDS. Just curious as I just got one. Seems to work as good as a Collins without the $20k price tag. :^) - Biz WDØHCO |

Have a great day! -- Mike-K5VSE No harm intended, but you may, indeed, find that it wouldn't sell--except to a small, select group of collectors. Twenty grand IS a lot of money. However, they haven't gone up, either. KW-1's were listing for 20 thou' back in '96, so it means the price has reached saturation. It doesn't mean that the price is outrageous or somehow has something to do with Ebay. 73 Jerry |
