Default Differences between Kenwood TS-700S and TS-700SP?

The SP was digital. And I "think" it had the repeater offsets for the

145
range already installed. It's been a while so don't hold this as gospel.
I'm sure someone else knows the skinny.

Dan,

Thanks for replying. From what I've learned so far, both the S and the SP
had digital displays, and at least one of the differences was the expanded
range where repeater offsets would work. They both had a low power button
and a button for a tone for use with European repeaters. My SP also has a
jack for an external tone encoder but I don't know if the S did.
