Does anyone know of a website which would give me the block diagram of the
icom ic-22s... I have the schematic, now I would like the block
diagram...... I have found a number of broken wires and would like to find
out what their function is....

BAMA has the following information:

An Italian site, Marcucci, has a good collection of Icom manuals.

Speaking of ICOM, you can now download manuals on most of their equipment,
both past and present from their Support Page. Furthermore, a note at the
bottom of the page says, "If you cannot find the intended instruction manual
you require on this download page, you can make a request to the Support
Center to have it uploaded." Way to go ICOM!!

For much technical material on ICOM equipment, Adam Farson, VA7OJ/AB4OJ,
runs a site which includes many manuals as well as links to other sources of
ICOM info.

This information may be more helpful than my last post.

Larry -

I owned this radio in the mid-1970s. This was the follow on Icom model to
the crystal based IC-22A. The biggest problem with Icom IC-22S is the large
number of modification articles. The diode matrix worked okay for
occasional change (but not frequent reworks). It is not uncommon to see
broken wires in that area.
