Default WTB: SX-28 rear terminals

I received an early Hallicrafters SX-28, but the rear antenna and
speaker terminals were punched in during shipment. They are made of
what appears to be black bakelite, with antenna terminal pair having A1
and A2 marked on it. One speaker terminal pair is marked with 500 and
the other 5000. Anybody got a line on these terminals, or a junker
SX28 for parts? Thanks, Doug

Doug -

Couple of NOS sources you should check.

1. Leeds Radio/Electronics in Brooklyn, NY
Many old parts from NYC Old Radio Row (they use to be located on Vessey -
before WTC built in 1960s forced radio Row out of area)

2. Abbatron / H.H. Smith (now located in Meadville, PA - western PA)
[Allied Electronics; Newark are 2 distributors]

Look at their Metal binding posts - either 8-32 or 10-32 (fine thread).

For the phenolic ... you can use PC board (fiberglass) or modern
plastics(Lexan) in this thickness in a variety of colors from either hobby
store
or glass companies (what you need is scrap to glass companies)
