"Phil Nelson" wrote in message ... Hey, thanks for the compliment. My schematic doesn't have a stringing diagram, either, so I peeked inside my S-20R and came up with this drawing: http://antiqueradio.org/art/temp/s20...ingdiagram.gif [snip] That's interesting. It looks similiar to the layout of the dial stringing diagram which came in the Hallicrafters S-40A service bulletin. The Service Bulletin dial stringing diagram is incorrect for the S-40A, which caused me a bit o' irratation. The bandspread dial cord was broken when I got my S-40A, but I eventually got it working correctly. I've posted a scan of the Hallicrafters S-40A dial stringing guide to the alt.binaries.pictures.radio group. Frank Dresser |
