I have one here. It's (I'm told) the microphone for a Victor RE57
combination radio/phonograph/recorder, dating from 1930-31. My RE57 is a TRF radio with capability (as implied) to play 78s and record on blank disks. I got my mic on the 'bay for this radio. You may find a market for these often-missing mics on rec.antiques.radio+phono.
