Default Looking for schematics for ARC-5 transmitter

Hello:

Just picked up a couple of ARC-5 transmitters on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3AUS%3A1&rd=1

Does anyone know where I can find schematics? I'd like to convert one of
these for 40 meter CW use.

Also...any of you guys have a matching receiver you'd be interested in
selling? I'm not looking for a museum piece, rather, something that I
won't feel guilty about modifying.

I can be reached at:

hpf(at)gainbroadband(dot)com

Pete

The full manual for the ARC-5 range of military gear is freely
available to download from the BAMA web site.

Go to http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/military-kg7bz/arc5/

You may also find web sites that discuss modification, though these
days people prefer to keep this sort of gear in original condition.
There are also books published in the 1950s covering mods to WWII
military gear that sometimes appear on Ebay.

The transmitters normally need the control unit with HT power supply
to operate.
