(August 17, 2006) KZLA is abandoning Country Music and moving to a new
format called Movin 93.9. Anchoring the new morning show at Movin 93.9
is Rick Dees.

The new format is a mix of Rhythmic Pop Contemporary, which will
feature the music of artists like Beyonce', Gwen Stefani, Usher,
Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Gnarls
Barkley. Movin 93.9 is "The Mix That Makes You Move."
