KQOB Oklahoma City Adds A Fun New Branding

KQOB completed its relaunch this morning as Rock leaning Classic Hits Fun
96.9. The new format will be led by Jack Elliot and Ron Williams, who moved
over from sister Hot AC 98.9 KIYS in November. The previous Classic Rock
96.9 staff of Program Director/Midday host Leo Cage and afternoon hosts

iHeartMedia Classic Hits 93.3 WODC Ashville/Columbus OH has come out of its
annual Christmas music run with a new format. WODC relaunched as Variety
Hits 93.3 The Bus at midnight. The move centers WODCs playlist in the 1980s
but expands its library to include 1990s and 2000s tracks. The flip to
Variety Hits places WODC closer musically to Sagas 1980s centric Classic
Hits Rewind 104.3/103.5 WWND/WNNP as well as NABCO rimshot 103.9 Jack-FM
WJKR.

Big 94.9 Debuts In Little Rock

KHKN came out of Christmas music this morning with a format shift to
Classic Hits Big 94.9. Now positioned as Little Rocks Greatest Hits, the
station is focusing on music from the 1970s and 1980s. Original Report
11/1: iHeartMedia has dropped the format of Variety Hits 94.9 Tom-FM KHKN
Maumelle/Little Rock AR and has begun stunting as Christmas 94.9. The
Tom-FM identity had launched in March of 2008 on 106.7 and moved to 94.9 a
year later. In the Summer 2015 Nielsen Audio ratings the station ranked
10th out of 14 listed stations in the market with a 3.3 share.

103.7 identity in November for Christmas Music. With the holiday season
over the station has switched to Christian AC Up 103.7. The debut is the
second launch with that format and brand name for iHeartMedia this week
following its debut in Fort Collins CO on Saturday. The launch brings a
commercial competitor to Gateway Creative Broadcastings duo of Christian AC
99.1 Joy-FM KLJY and Christian CHR Boost 101.9 K270BW/KLJY-HD2

With the end of Christmas season, 105.1 The Gift KAAU American Fork/Salt
Lake City gave way to another placeholder format. KAUU is now running an
unbranded Dance format until Broadway Media can begin operating the
