Federated Media has begun stunting on 92.3 WFWI Fort Wayne IN following the
move of News/Talk 1190 WOWOs FM simulcast to 107.5. WFWI is currently
airing two minute long snippets of Classic Rock songs with sweepers
directing listeners to WePromiseSomethingBig.com. That site itself
redirects to the Big923.com domain we reported on back in August with a
countdown clock to Monday at 6:00am. Since the original domain registration
was made, there have been social media accounts in place with the logo seen
above. Such a format would likely place the station between Sarkes Tarzians
Classic Hits Fun 101.7 WLDE and Adams

KBIU Goes From Warm To Hot

Cumulus AC Warm 103.3 KBIU Lake Charles LA has jettisoned the format for
Rhythmic CHR Hot 103.3. The move brings back the format and branding
Cumulus had on 97.9 KQLK until that station was one of the inaugural
stations to flip to Nash Icon in August 2014. The flip places KBIU between
Townsquare Medias combo of Adult CHR 92.1 Kiss-FM KTSR and Urban 107 Jamz
KJMH.

Entercom relaunched Magic 102.7 WMXJ Pompano Beach/Miami as mostly 1980s
Classic Hits 102.7 The Beach at the stroke of midnight and 2016. Now
positioned as More Music, More Fun, the station debuted with Michael
Jackson The Way You Make Me Feel, Billy Idol White Wedding, Madonna
Material Girl, The Outfield Your Love, and Wham! Careless Whisper. Imaging
includes music stretching from Sugarhill Gangs Rappers Delight to Quiet
Riots Cum On Feel The Noise. The eight Throwback 102.7 related domains
registered earlier this week now can be considered to have been decoys.
