EQ Setting for Voice Recording
Does anybody have a nice baseline EQ setting for voice work ??
Recording in Protools and using the Digirack EQ Thanks Scott |
Start with 2dB lift at 10kHz and 3.5kHz, and take about 2dB out at
400Hz. With a reasonable microphone, this is a very good starting point. Depending on room or aircon rumble you might want to use a high pass filter set at 60-90Hz, and this can be a little higher with a female voice if needed. Cheers, Rob. |
