I am associate producing a documentary on the life and career of
Irving
Thalberg (Head of MGM Production in the 30's) for Turner Classic
Movies. The film will air in Feb. of 2005.

We are looking for radio announcements of Thalberg's death. On
September 14,15, or 16 1936. KFI-KECA had a 15-minute program
narrated by John Hallern commemorating Thalberg's life.

Thalberg died on September 14 and the funeral was held on the16th
1936. Also, KEHE-Hearst Radio was the first to broadcast his death and
KNX announced as well.Can you direct me towards anyone who might have
any of these?
