Default Delilah.....No Spouse...?

I was recently on a cross country car trip and did some extended listening
to Delilah.

I hadn't heard her in a while.

She was talking to a caller who was praising her "wonderful advice", and
said to the caller: "If I'm so good at giving advice, why don't I have a
spouse?"

Now, I remember when Delilah was just starting out in syndication, she had
just gotten married. (She had been married previously in an abusive
relationship, which she always shared with listeners.)

Anyone have a clue what happenned to husband #2?

Thanks

Curious listener

He died from boredom.

Sorry. Couldn't resist. I've never been able to stomach Delilah.

Recently separated, if not already divorced.

I know this is an old post but neither could I!
