With the new Data-casting and IP Multicasting capabilities service, clients
can up link their existing content to a WorldSpace satellite where it is
down linked to inexpensive transportable receivers containing small built-
in 4-inch dish antennas. The receivers, designed and mass-produced
exclusively for WorldSpace, contain data ports that enable direct
transmission of data and audio content to computers. Through this service,
clients anywhere within the coverage area will be able to listen to live
audio discussions combined with a slide show on various topics, thus
stimulating a 'virtual classroom.'

"We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase our services at such a
respected gathering of global military satellite communication experts,"
said Noah Samara, Chairman and CEO of WorldSpace, Inc. "The WorldSpace Data-
casting and IP Multicasting system will allow clients to reach vast new
audiences where traditional radio, or Internet services are either limited
