Can anyone recommend some automation software that will run under
Linux? I have been using a windoze based product until now and I am tired of the reliability problems inherent to windoze. It doesn't have to be loaded with features, just the basics. I operate a low power, non-profit, "Part 15" AM station that is on the air 24/7, so cost is an issue as well. I have Googled this topic a lot, and have only come across a lot of "beta" versions, or sites that say that "they are working on it, and will release a beta soon..." Any suggestions? Anyone?? |

Does it have to be Linux? I've seen a "Part 15" station that was completely
programmed on an Apple iPod. Of course the owner used a PC to make the MP3s, upload them, and program the iPod, but once that was done the iPod alone ran the station 24/7. To top it off, the iPod and the transmitter were powered by a solar panel and storage batteries! Very clever arrangement. -- Dave - Vinyl Bytes wrote in message ...
